A Brilliant Day With Lee Min Num

Kunawat Laoarphasuwong (AKA Num) is one of my bestest friends and favorite people,  A couple of years ago, I noticed that he resembled the Korean TV star Lee Min Ho and one of his other friends told him the same thing... so now I call him Lee Min Num.

Anyway, we had a terrific day together with another fun adventure.  Today started at the Bangkok Arts and Culture Center, where they are holding an exhibit where all Thais were invited to send in their favorite images of the King on Instagram and they printed and posted them all,   Cool idea and very cool exhibit.

One art exhibit encouraged you to become part of the art... so Num did!

Anyone who knows me will be shocked by this photo.  And I have to admit,,, it really WAS my idea.  MK Sukayaki restaurant is one of the most popular chains in Thailand, but I am pretty famous for hating it.  Actually, I don't HATE it.  It's just that when I first came to Thailand it seemed like everyone wanted to take me there and I got very burned out on it.  Having been away from Thailand for two years, suddenly, it actually sounded good to me.  And it was great.  :-)

From there is was Sky Train...

And River boat taxi  and then a good walk to the Bangkok Museum... which was wonderful and will be the next blog post.  For now, I am just so thankful for a day with my bud Lee Min Num.  I had a TERRIFIC time!
